To anyone who can help! I am trying to hook up usb connections from the cables that came with my case (that are for front usb ports).

The problem i am having is that only the top row of pins is/are active. The bottom row won't read or display anything at all. I have tried to go into the device manager and trouble shoot, though to no avail. All drivers are updated or 'cannot find a better match.' Frustrating this is. I have updated the bios, usb is enabbled in the bios ect, ect, ect.

As old as this mainboard is, there would seem to be very little to be gained with a BIOS update. It will not provide any appreciable ability to upgrade components, and if you have used this board for any length of time successfully, updating the BIOS is questionable.
